Short story
So I started writing a story. First time that I have written anything for quite a while. I had started a collaboration with Knob a few years ago to write his auto/biography, but that didn't really happen because someone kept forgetting to write. lol. Anywho, this is a fiction set in the future ala Blade Runner about a detective. I will post the first bit in a few days after I have some more pages going. That is all.

Film Review: Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengence 3D
I was really stoked when I first heard they were going to do another Ghost Rider film. The first one had it's flaws, but was a fun film to watch. After the second was announced to have an R rating I was even more stoked. This character could use the R rating. They could have shown some of the darker sides of the Rider. Then, suddenly... POW! PG-13!?!?!? What the fuck?
Even with the dumbed down rating, the film is still watchable. There are a few parts that you can tell that they had to make some cuts to get it down to their new rating. The effects were much better than the first. I do miss the old bike with the skull on the front, but I like the new Ghost Rider model MUCH better. As far as plot goes, it's good, but could have used a few less jokes just for the sake of jokes. The fight scenes with the Rider are really good, though in the first chunk of the flick everything is filmed with the god-damn "shaky-cam". Fuck I hate that shit. The rest of the film is much more stable. It was mildly left open for another, but I doubt they will do another. Overall I would give it a C+, maybe a B-. Worth watching if you are really into comics and comic book movies, but if not you can skip it without missing anything.

Film Review: A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas
I guess I should actually do some reviews if I want to be a reviewer lolz. Anywho, this one is for "A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas". This was actually a very funny flick. I do think it was much funnier that their last outing in "Harold & Kumar: Escape From Guantanamo Bay". This one had much better pacing, and no George W. The plot in a nutshell is Harold and Kumar getting their friendship back in action after a 2 year hiatus. More of the random shit that happens to them all the time goes down. Including, but not limited to: shooting Santa in the face, claymation snowman attack, dick stuck to a pole, and a wafflebot. My personal fav of the film is wafflebot. I am a HUGE fan of "robot-talk" and that is how this little guy speaks. Overall I would give this film a solid B+. Funny flick, totally worth a watch, especially if you like the stoner comedies.

My first film review
I watched "Rounders" tonight. I personally love this flick, not only because of the ties between gambling and magic, but also because of Edward Norton and Matt Damon. Both of them came of as long time friends, who tend to help one another out in a bind. The film starts as "Mike", Matt's character, falls down to ground zero. He is forced to build himself back in the normal way. His friend "Worm", Edward's character, comes back into Mike's life. This is both a good thing, and simultaneously the worst thing ever. It's great to have your friend back, but this guy knows only one way to do things, and it's usually not the right way. He drags Mike back into his old life, which has some baggage (un-beknownst to Mike). Now Mike has to deal with his own shit plus all of Worm's previous hell.
Shot well, cut well. My only real complaint with the flick is the lack of some more technical card sharp talk. This again is only my gripe, but that is because of my own past with cards and terminology.
Overall: solid B+

Man, finally de-stressing
after all the hell that was last week, i finally feel that i am starting to unwind a bit. i think friday was the most stressed out and on edge i have been for many years. luckily i didnt have to deal with my prick dad, but just having him in the room was almost too much to handle.
after not talking to him for 2 and a half years i have come to the conclusion, beyond a doubt, that there is no way to salvage any sort of relationship with that fucker. i am so emotionally turned off to him that there is nothing he could say or do to cause me to actually reconsider this. fuck him. the end.
